※ If not delete DDNS and attempt to process firmware update, DDNS can be recognized as overlapped. In order to avoid overlapped DDNS, delete DDNS before installation and re-register DDNS after installation is done.
※ Firmware update takes several minutes. Be sure not to turn off the power while downloading which will cause system defect or fatal error.
※ After update, if page displays error message, reboot the system and login again. Access attempt before rebooting may cause the error message.
※ Firmware update is processed through internal network. Be sure not to use other works which can cause excessive traffic. Do not disconnect network cable during firmware update.
※ If you use other web page, re-register DDNS backup and WWW index files after firmware update.

- Make sure that you must update this firmware from 1.1.1 version (1.1.1--> 1.1.2)

Firmware Update Procedure
1. Click on the firmware download link.
2. Save the file on your computer - MvixPVR_1.0.x_xxxx.zip
3. Unzip the file - and you will see 4 files ie
    arial.ttf
    mvix_installer
    MvixPVR_10x_xxxx.mvx
    video_firmware.bin
4. Copy all 4 files to the ROOT of a USB flash drive.
5. Plug USB flash drive into one of the USB host ports at the back of the PVR
6. Go to setup menu on PVR and then System then Firmware Update.
7. Select USB
8. Navigate to file MvixPVR_10x_xxxx.mvx and select ok
9. Follow onscreen instructions.
 
CAUTION:
Due to firmware update, the path of UCC media data downloading from MvixLIVE can be changed to the initial state, so need to re-download. However, files saved in HDD are safe.
For a user of V.1.0.0, be sure to upgrade V.1.0.2 first, and then follow upgrading to V.1.0.x

4. Copy all 4 files to the ROOT of a USB flash drive.
5. Plug USB flash drive into one of the USB host ports at the back of the PVR
6. Go to setup menu on PVR and then System then Firmware Update.
7. Select USB
8. Navigate to file MvixPVR_10x_xxxx.mvx and select ok
9. Follow onscreen instructions.
 
CAUTION:
Due to firmware update, the path of UCC media data downloading from MvixLIVE can be changed to the initial state, so need to re-download. However, files saved in HDD are safe.
For a user of V.1.0.0, be sure to upgrade V.1.0.2 first, and then follow upgrading to V.1.0.x

※ If not delete DDNS and attempt to process firmware update, DDNS can be recognized as overlapped. In order to avoid overlapped DDNS, delete DDNS before installation and re-register DDNS after installation is done.

MvixPVR Firmware Update

 Caution:
Due to firmware update, the path of UCC media data downloading from MvixLIVE can be changed to the initial state, so need to re-download. However, files saved in HDD are safe.

 
Files for Firmware update

Place firmware files in root of USB.
EX)
D:/ arial.ttf
D:/ mvix_installer
D:/ MvixPVR_103_PAL(NTSC).mvx
D:/ video_firmware.bin

 
Direction
1. Save the files to root of USB. EX)D:\
2. Connect USB HOST to MvixPVR
 
3. Select System Setup Menu -> Upgrade Firmware
 
4. Select UBS attached USB HOST and Select Firmware files
 
5. Press OK. After reboot, firmware upgrade will start.
Caution: Do not turn off the power during firmware upgrade. The product may cause serious damage.

iPod/LCD firmware Upgrade

Direction
1. Access MVixPVR via PC with mvixPVR ip (UPnP mode)
2. Setup menu
3. Select Ipod/ LCD function Upgrade in Media Server reboot. (Internet connection is mandatory)

Release note:

 

1.       When selecting multi-subtitles, play button is inactivated in front panel ->Fixed

2.       While single subtitle file video playing right after multi-subtitle video played, it displays as multi-subtitle file name in pop-up window ->fixed. It correctly displays Single subtitle in pop-up windows.

3.       Repeat mode error in DVD pop-up window (title and chapter repeat modes are reversed) -> Fixed. Repeat mode are corrected

4.       Read error of absolute path of a file -> Fixed
